I have been watching a pair of nuthatch in the garden this winter, flying back and forth from the feeder, I can only imagine they are storing food in the surrounding trees in readiness for harder times to come. They are such neat, smart birds never a feather out of place.
This painting is so fresh it is still shining and wet.
