I have had a little break from birds this week, instead I have been busy painting a couple of doggy portraits for Jane and Peter, the most amazing couple who help me take care of Loki. This is Molly, a much loved and sadly missed lurcher born in Ashington but raised in Alnmouth by the sea. I have loved painting this, it’s funny, some just seem to come together so easily. I hope I have managed to capture a little of her character in the painting because she obviously had oodles of it. The other painting isn’t quite ready for uploading yet, a few finishing touches to add.
