I have been working on this Tawny owl while along side the goldcrest. I like to have a couple of paintings on the go at the same time so that I can chop and change, work on one while the other is drying off a little between layers.
I often hear Tawny owls calling at night, we are trying to tempt them with an owl box in the garden but no one has taken up residence yet.
This picture goes with the previous barn owl, I am hoping to complete a full selection of British Owls that can then be printed and made into cards.
